An Act to amend the Nature Conservation Council Act 1962

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Nature Conservation Council Amendment Act 1971, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Nature Conservation Council Act 1962 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Nature Conservation Council

Section 3 of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting from subsection (2) the words “not fewer than five nor more than seven”, and substituting the words “not fewer than 7 nor more than 9”.

This Act is administered in the Department of Lands and Survey.
