An Act to amend the New Zealand Society of Accountants Act 1958

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the New Zealand Society of Accountants Amendment Act 1971, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the New Zealand Society of Accountants Act 1958 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Minimum age for membership of Society

Section 14 of the principal Act (as amended by section 5(1) of the New Zealand Society of Accountants Amendment Act 1968) is hereby further amended by omitting from subsection (1) the words “twenty-one years”, and substituting the expression “20 years”.

This Act is administered in the Treasury.
