An Act to amend the Domestic Proceedings Act 1968
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Domestic Proceedings Amendment Act 1972, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Domestic Proceedings Act 1968 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Proof of default
Section 108A of the principal Act (as inserted by section 21(1) of the Domestic Proceedings Amendment Act 1971) is hereby amended by omitting from paragraph (a) the words “Any Registrar of Social Security (including any Deputy Registrar or Assistant Registrar of Social Security”
), and substituting the following words:
“A Director or Assistant Director of Social Welfare”.
This Act is administered in the Department of Justice.
