An Act to amend the Reserves and Domains Act 1953
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Reserves and Domains Amendment Act 1972, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Term of office of members of Boards
Section 8 of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting from paragraph (a) the words “a term of seven years”
, and substituting the words “such term as the Minister may specify in the notice of appointment of that member, not exceeding in any case 7 years,”
.
This Act is administered in the Department of Lands and Survey.
