An Act to amend the Hydatids Act 1968

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Hydatids Amendment Act 1973, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Hydatids Act 1968 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Borrowing by National Hydatids Council

The principal Act is hereby amended by inserting, after section 17, the following section:

“17a

The Council may, with the prior consent of the Minister of Finance and upon and subject to such conditions as that Minister thinks fit, borrow money and mortgage or charge any of its real and personal property.”

This Act is administered in the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
