An Act to amend the Radiation Protection Act 1965
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Radiation Protection Amendment Act 1973, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Radiation Protection Act 1965 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Interpretation
Section 2 of the principal Act is hereby amended by inserting in the definition of the term “prescribed”
in subsection (1), after the word “by”
, the words “or under”
.
3 Regulations
Section 31 of the principal Act is hereby amended by inserting in paragraph (a), after the expression “13”
, the expression “14”
.
This Act is administered in the Department of Health.
