Education Amendment Act 1974: repealed, on 1 August 2020, pursuant to section 669(3)(a) of the Education and Training Act 2020 (2020 No 38).

This Act is administered by the Ministry of Education.
An Act to amend the Education Act 1964
This Act may be cited as the Education Amendment Act 1974, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Education Act 1964 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

This subsection inserted section 69A of the principal Act.
(2)
Notwithstanding anything in subsection (1) of this section, and notwithstanding that bylaws may not have been made for the purposes of collecting fees payable to any association or organisation of students at a technical institute, any fees heretofore collected on behalf of the association or organisation of students by the Board or other governing body of the institute shall be deemed to have been validly collected on behalf of the association or organisation of students.
