An Act to amend the Nassella Tussock Act 1946

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Nassella Tussock Amendment Act 1974, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Nassella Tussock Act 1946 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Remuneration of Chairman of Board

(1)

Section 46a of the principal Act (as inserted by section 4 of the Nassella Tussock Amendment Act 1948 and amended by section 6 of the Nassella Tussock Amendment Act 1968) is hereby further amended by omitting the words “five hundred dollars”, and substituting the expression “$ 600”.

(2)

Section 6 of the Nassella Tussock Amendment Act 1968 is hereby consequentially repealed.

This Act is administered in the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
