An Act to amend the Vocational Training Council Act 1968

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Vocational Training Council Amendment Act 1975, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Vocational Training Council Act 1968 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Audit of accounts

Section 15a of the principal Act (as inserted by section 2(1) of the Vocational Training Council Amendment Act 1972) is hereby amended, as from its commencement, by inserting, after subsection (5), the following subsection:

“(5a)

All accounts submitted to the Audit Office shall be audited by it; and for that purpose the Audit Office shall have and may exercise all its powers under the Public Revenues Act 1953 in respect of public money and stores, and persons dealing therewith.”

This Act is administered in the Department of Education.
