    At Wellington this 16th day of October 2006

Pursuant to section 32 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

1 Title

  • This order is the Ombudsmen Act (Schedule 1) Order (No 3) 2006.

2 Commencement

  • This order comes into force on 1 December 2006.

3 Part 2 of Schedule 1 of Ombudsmen Act 1975 amended

  • (1) Part 2 of Schedule 1 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975 is amended by omitting “Terralink NZ Limited”.

    (2) Part 2 of Schedule 1 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975 is amended by inserting the following items in their appropriate alphabetical order:

    • “•Aviation Security Service

    • “•National Pacific Radio Trust

    • “•New Zealand Food Safety Authority

    • “•Veterans' Affairs New Zealand”

4 Part 3 of Schedule 1 of Ombudsmen Act 1975 amended

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on 1 December 2006, amends Schedule 1 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975 by—

  • •omitting Terralink NZ Limited from Part 2:

  • •adding Aviation Security Service, National Pacific Radio Trust, New Zealand Food Safety Authority, and Veterans' Affairs New Zealand to Part 2:

  • •omitting Hospital Boards from Part 3.
