An Act to amend the New Zealand National Airways Act 1945

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the New Zealand National Airways Amendment Act 1975, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the New Zealand National Airways Act 1945 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Capital of Corporation

(1)

The principal Act is hereby amended by repealing section 23 (as substituted by section 2 of the New Zealand National Airways Amendment Act 1964), and substituting the following section:

“23

The authorised capital of the Corporation shall be $30 million which shall be paid by the Minister of Finance to the Corporation as and when, in his opinion, it is required by the Corporation.”

(2)

Section 2 of the New Zealand National Airways Amendment Act 1964 is hereby consequentially repealed.

This Act is administered in the Ministry of Transport.
