An Act to amend the Public Bodies Leases Act 1969

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Public Bodies Leases Amendment Act 1976, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Public Bodies Leases Act 1969 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Powers of leasing authority to grant lease

Section 7(1)(g) of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting the words “in accordance with the Second Schedule to this Act” where they first occur.

This Act is administered in the Department of Internal Affairs.
