An Act to amend the Thomas Cawthron Trust Act 1924

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Thomas Cawthron Trust Amendment Act 1976, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Thomas Cawthron Trust Act 1924 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Remuneration of Board

Section 17 of the principal Act (as amended by section 7 of the Decimal Currency Act 1964) is hereby amended—

(a)

By omitting the words “one thousand dollars”, and substituting the expression “$6,000”:

(b)

By omitting the words “Administration Act, 1908”, and substituting the words “Trustee Act 1956”.

This Act is administered in the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research.
