The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the Heavy Engineering Research Levy Amendment Act 2015.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
3 Principal Act
This Act amends the Heavy Engineering Research Levy Act 1978 (the principal Act).
4 Section 5 amended (Minister may prescribe rates of research levy)
In section 5(1), replace
“the New Zealand Manufacturing Engineer's Federation (Incorporated)”
with“The New Zealand Manufacturers and Exporters Association Incorporated”
.
5 Schedule 2 amended
In the Schedule 2 heading, replace
“$5”
with“$20”
.
6 Schedule 3 amended
In the Schedule 3 heading, replace
“5 cents”
with“10 cents”
.
