An Act to amend the Children’s Health Camps Act 1972

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Children’s Health Camps Amendment Act 1979, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Children’s Health Camps Act 1972 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Fees and travelling expenses

Section 31 of the principal Act is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:

“(3)

There shall be paid out of the Fund to each appointed member of the Board remuneration by way of fees, salary, or allowances in accordance with the Fees and Travelling Allowances Act 1951 in respect of his attendance at meetings of the Board on or after the 1st day of April 1980, and that Act shall apply accordingly.”

This Act is administered in the Department of Health.
