An Act to amend the Export Guarantee Act 1964

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Export Guarantee Amendment Act 1979, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Export Guarantee Act 1964 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Contracts in national interest

(1)

Section 10(2) of the principal Act (as amended by section 125 of the Public Finance Act 1977) is hereby further amended by omitting the words “, after consultation with the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Overseas Trade,”.

(2)

Section 125 of the Public Finance Act 1977 is hereby consequentially repealed.

This Act is administered in the State Insurance Office.

Export Guarantee Amendment Act 1979
