18 Power to require name and address of seller

(1)

Any officer acting in the exercise of any of his powers under this Act may require any person who is in possession of any food for sale, or for delivery upon sale, to state correctly his name and address and, so far as he is aware of them, the name and address of the person from whom he obtained the food.

(2)

Every person commits an offence against this Act who fails, without reasonable excuse, to comply with any requirement of an officer under subsection (1).

(3)

In this section the term officer includes a local authority inspector.
