An Act to amend the Waitangi National Trust Board Act 1932

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Waitangi National Trust Board Amendment Act 1982, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Waitangi National Trust Board Act 1932 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Board may grant easements

Section 3 of the principal Act (as amended by section 3 of the Waitangi National Trust Board Amendment Act 1958, section 2 of the Waitangi National Trust Board Amendment Act 1968, and section 2(1) of the Waitangi National Trust Board Amendment Act 1979) is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:

“(5)

The Board may grant easements over any part of the land vested in it.”
