An Act to amend the Wine Makers Act 1981

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Wine Makers Amendment Act 1982, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Wine Makers Act 1981 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 New Zealand wine not to be exported without certificate of compliance

Section 25(1)(a) of the principal Act is hereby amended by inserting, after the words “the Food and Drug Regulations 1973”, the words “relating to the composition of wine”.

3 Corrections of principal Act

(1)

Section 9(3) of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting the words “subsection (2) or subsection (3)”, and substituting the words “subsection (3) or subsection (4)”.

(2)

The Schedule to the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting from the item relating to the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 the expression “260(1)(b)”, and substituting the expression “260(2)(b)”.

This Act is administered in the Department of Justice.
