An Act to amend the Meat Export Control Act 1921–22

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Meat Export Control Amendment Act 1982, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Meat Export Control Act 1921–22 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Levy on stock

Section 13(1) of the principal Act (as inserted by section 3(1) of the Meat Export Control Amendment Act 1980) is hereby amended by inserting, after the words “licensed premises”, the words “(except on stock slaughtered on licensed premises in the Chatham Islands)”.

This Act is administered in the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
