50A Unlawful possession of prohibited firearm

Every person commits an offence and is liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years who—

(a)

is in possession of a prohibited firearm; and

(b)

is not authorised or permitted expressly by or pursuant to this Act to be in possession of that prohibited firearm.
