An Act to amend the Wine Makers Act 1981
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Wine Makers Amendment Act (No. 2) 1983, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Wine Makers Act 1981 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Notice of application for removal of wine maker’s licence
Section 14(5) of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting the expression “8(7)”
, and substituting the expression “8(6)”
.
3 Certain wine-based drinks not to be exported without certificate of compliance
Section 25 of the principal Act is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:
“(6)
The foregoing provisions of this section, with any necessary modifications, shall apply to every wine-based drink made in New Zealand of which the principal ingredient is grape wine, as if the drink were itself grape wine.”
This Act is administered in the Department of Justice.
