The Registrar of the High Court who is a member of the District Committee to which the application was made may, instead of requiring the amounts allowed under subsection (1) of this section to be taxed in accordance with subsection (3) of this section, require those amounts to be revised under Part VIII of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, in which case the foregoing provisions of this section shall be read as if the said amounts were the amounts allowed by the Council of the District Law Society on revision or by a Registrar on any appeal from that Council’s decision or by the High Court on any review of the Registrar’s decision, as the case may be.”
