An Act to amend the Royal New Zealand Foundation for the Blind Act 1963

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Royal New Zealand Foundation for the Blind Amendment Act 1983, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Royal New Zealand Foundation for the Blind Act 1963 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Annual meeting for report on proceedings of Foundation

(1)

Section 19(1) of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting the word “May”, and substituting the word “July”.

(2)

Section 41(1) of the principal Act is hereby consequentially amended by omitting the word “May”, and substituting the word “July”.

This Act is administered in the Department of Education.
