An Act to amend the Trade Marks Act 1953
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Trade Marks Amendment Act 1985, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Trade Marks Act 1953 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Saving for use of name, address, or description of goods
Section 12(b) of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting the words “paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of section 8 or in paragraph (b) of subsection (3) of section 47”
, and substituting the words “section 8(1)(b) or in section 47(3)(b)”
.
