An Act to amend the Primary Products Marketing Act 1953
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Primary Products Marketing Amendment Act 1985, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Primary Products Marketing Act 1953 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Remuneration and travelling expenses
The principal Act is hereby amended by repealing section 9, and substituting the following section:
“9
A Marketing Authority may pay to its members, and to the members of any committee or subcommittee of the Marketing Authority, such fees, salary, allowances, and travelling allowances and expenses, as the Marketing Authority by resolution from time to time determines.”
This Act is administered in the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
