26ZN Fishing rights not to be sold or let

(1)

Every person commits an offence against this Act who sells or lets the right to fish in any freshwater.

(2)

For the purposes of subsection (1), the expression sells or lets the right to fish does not include—

(a)

the selling or letting of fishing rights on any licensed fish farm to the general public; or

(b)

the grant of a concession by the Minister to a sports fishing guide; or

(c)

charges made for guiding services by any sports fishing guide.
