An Act to amend the Recreation and Sport Act 1986

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Recreation and Sport Amendment Act 1987, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Recreation and Sport Act 1986 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Officers and employees

Section 21 of the principal Act is hereby amended by repealing subsection (4), and substituting the following subsection:

“(4)

The Commission, out of its funds, may subsidise any fund or scheme for the purpose of providing superannuation or retiring allowances for its officers and employees or any of them.”

This Act is administered in the Department of Internal Affairs.
