An Act to amend the Conservation Act 1987

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:

1 Short Title

  • This Act may be cited as the Conservation Amendment Act 1999, and is part of the Conservation Act 1987 (“the principal Act”).

2 Membership

  • This section substituted s 6D(2)(d) of the principal Act.

3 Term of office of members of Authority
4 Membership of Conservation Boards

  • This section substituted s 6P(4)(d) of the principal Act.

5 Term of office of members of Boards

  • This section substituted s 6R(4), and inserted s 6R(4A) and (4B) of the principal Act.
