An Act to amend the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986
BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:
1 Short Title and commencement
(1)
This Act may be cited as the State-Owned Enterprises Amendment Act 1988, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986 (in this Act referred to as the principal Act).
(2)
Section 4 of, and the Schedule to, this Act shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1988.
(3)
Subject to subsection (2) of this section, this Act shall come into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal Assent.
2 Addition to First Schedule
The First Schedule to the principal Act is hereby amended by adding the following item:
“Works and Development Services Corporation (NZ) Limited”.
3 Addition to Second Schedule
The Second Schedule to the principal Act is hereby amended by adding the following item:
“Works and Development Services Corporation (NZ) Limited”.
4 Consequential amendments
The enactments specified in the Schedule to this Act are hereby amended in the manner indicated in that Schedule.
