An Act to amend the Trades Certification Act 1966
BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:
1 Short Title and commencement
(1)
This Act may be cited as the Trades Certification Amendment Act 1988, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Trades Certification Act 1966 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
(2)
This Act shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1988.
2 Officers and employees
Section 20 of the principal Act is hereby amended by repealing subsection (2) (as substituted by section 33(1) of the Higher Salaries Commission Act 1977), and substituting the following subsection:
“(2)
The Secretary shall be paid such salary and allowances as are determined from time to time by the State Services Commission.”
This Act is administered in the Department of Education.
