An Act to amend the Airport Authorities Act 1966

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:

1 Short Title and commencement

(1)

This Act may be cited as the Airport Authorities Amendment Act 1988, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Airport Authorities Act 1966 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

(2)

This Act shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1988.

2 Airport Authority may act in conjunction with Minister and other authorities

Section 5 of the principal Act is hereby amended—

(a)

By omitting from subsection (1) the words “or the Minister of Works and Development or with both of those Ministers”:

(b)

By omitting from subsection (3) the words “of Works and Development”.

This Act is administered in the Ministry of Transport.
