An Act to amend the Engineering Associates Act 1961

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:

1 Short Title and commencement

(1)

This Act may be cited as the Engineering Associates Amendment Act 1988, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Engineering Associates Act 1961 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

(2)

This Act shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1988.

2 Interpretation

Section 2 of the principal Act is hereby amended by repealing the definition of the term “Minister”, and substituting the following definition:

“‘Minister’ means the Minister of Trade and Industry:”.

This Act is administered in the Department of Trade and Industry.
