An Act to amend the Ministry of Transport Act 1968

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:

1 Short Title and commencement

(1)

This Act may be cited as the Ministry of Transport Amendment Act 1988, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Ministry of Transport Act 1968 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

(2)

This Act shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1988.

2 Acts administered by Ministry of Transport

Part I of the First Schedule to the principal Act is hereby amended by inserting, in their appropriate alphabetical order, the following items:

1983, No. 153—The Auckland Harbour Bridge Authority Dissolution Act 1983.

1978, No. 51—The Christchurch-Lyttelton Road Tunnel Authority Dissolution Act 1978.

1908, No. 49—The District Railways Act 1908.

1914, No. 32—The Local Railways Act 1914.

1953, No. 118—The National Roads Act 1953.

1981, No. 35—The Public Works Act 1981 (Parts IX to XIV).

1977, No. 124—The Road User Charges Act 1977.

1908, No. 199—The Tramways Act 1908.
