An Act to amend the Sale of Liquor Act 1962

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:

1 Short Title and commencement

(1)

This Act may be cited as the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1988, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

(2)

This Act shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1988.

2 Works canteen licence

Section 70(1) of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting the words “Minister of Works and Development”, and substituting the words “Minister of the Crown responsible for the construction of that work”.

This Act is administered in the Department of Justice.
