1 Short Title and commencement

(1)

This Act may be cited as the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1989.

(2)

Except as provided in section 181(5) and (9), this Act shall come into force on 1 February 1990.

Section 1(2): amended, on 24 March 1995, by section 12 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Amendment Act 1995 (1995 No 5).
