An Act to amend the Environment Act 1986
BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Environment Amendment Act 1989, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Environment Act 1986 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Annual report
Section 34(1) of the principal Act is hereby amended of by omitting the words “calendar year”
, and substituting the words “financial year of the Ministry”
.
3 Amending Schedule
The Schedule to the principal Act is hereby amended by inserting, in its appropriate alphabetical order, the following item:
“The Conservation Act 1987.”
This Act is administered in the Ministry for the Environment.
