Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 3AB of the Public Finance Act 1989, His Excellency the Governor-General makes the following order,—
(a) acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance; and
(b) being satisfied that Education Payroll Limited meets the criteria set out in section 3AB(1)(a) of that Act.

2 Commencement

3 Schedule 4A of Public Finance Act 1989 amended
In the Public Finance Act 1989, Schedule 4A, insert in its appropriate alphabetical order the item set out in the Schedule of this order.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 5 September 2014, inserts the name Education Payroll Limited into Schedule 4A of the Public Finance Act 1989. Adding Education Payroll Limited to Schedule 4A means that, under section 45OA of the Public Finance Act 1989, certain provisions of the Crown Entities Act 2004 apply to the company as if it were a Crown entity company under the Crown Entities Act 2004.
