Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1999 Commencement Order 2005

Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1999 Commencement Order 2005: revoked, on 18 December 2013, pursuant to section 418(3) of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 (2012 No 120).

Note

This order is administered by the Ministry of Justice.

Pursuant to section 1(5) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1999, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

1 Title

This order is the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1999 Commencement Order 2005.

2 Commencement of Part 2 of Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1999

Part 2 (except section 123) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1999, as amended by sections 20 and 21 of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 2004, comes into force on 1 April 2006.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order brings Part 2 (except section 123) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1999 into force on 1 April 2006.

Part 2 of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1999 amends Part 6 of the Sale of Liquor Act 1989. Part 6 relates to the management of licensed premises. The amendments that will come into force on 1 April 2006 introduce a requirement that all general managers must hold a prescribed qualification.
