An Act to amend the United Nations Act 1946

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the United Nations Amendment Act 1990, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the United Nations Act 1946 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Liability for breach of regulations

Section 3(1) of the principal Act (as amended by section 7 of the Decimal Currency Act 1964) is hereby amended—

(a)

By omitting the expression “$200”, and substituting the expression “$10,000”; and

(b)

By omitting the expression “$2,000”, and substituting the expression “$100,000”.

This Act is administered in the Ministry of External Relations and Trade.
