An Act to issue and apply certain amounts of public money towards the service of the year ending with the 30th day of June 1990
BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:
1 Short Title
(1)
This Act may be cited as the Imprest Supply Act 1990.
(2)
This Act relates to the year ending with the 30th day of June 1990 (hereinafter referred to as the 1989–90 year).
2 Imprest grants
In addition to all sums otherwise granted, there may be issued and applied, by way of imprest, towards the service of the 1989–90 year, amounts of public money not exceeding in the aggregate the sum of $3,700,000,000.
3 Appropriation required
All amounts of public money issued and applied under section 2 of this Act shall be charged in the manner hereafter to be specified in an Appropriation Act for the 1989–90 year, and, until the Appropriation Act in which that manner is specified is passed, may be expended in the 1989–90 year as if they had been appropriated by Act of Parliament.
This Act is administered in the Treasury.
