An Act to amend the Social Welfare (Transitional Provisions) Act 1990
BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:
(1)
This Act may be cited as the Social Welfare (Transitional Provisions) Amendment Act 1991, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Social Welfare (Transitional Provisions) Act 1990 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
(2)
This Act shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1991.
This subsection repealed ss 20 to 29 and 32 of the principal Act.
This subsection amended s 31 of the principal Act.
(3)
No member of the Social Welfare Commission or of a District Executive Committee or of an Area Welfare Executive Committee shall be entitled to any money or other benefit by way of compensation, or a claim for loss of remuneration, or for reimbursement of expected allowances, arising out of the abolition of that Commission or either of those Committees.
No member of a residence management committee shall be entitled to any money or other benefit by way of compensation, or a claim for loss of remuneration, or for reimbursement of expected allowances, arising out of the abolition of that committee.
