Every person commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 who, for the purpose of obtaining any registration, licence, renewal of a licence, or certificate under this Act, either on the person’s own behalf or on behalf of any other person,—
either orally or in writing, makes any declaration or representation that, to the person’s knowledge, is false or misleading in any material particular; or
provides to the Registrar, the Board, or the Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers Board, any document knowing that the document—
contains any declaration or representation that is false or misleading in any material particular; or
is not genuine; or
makes use of any document knowing that the document—
is not genuine.
