An Act to amend the Maori Education Foundation Act 1961

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Maori Education Foundation Amendment Act 1992, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Maori Education Foundation Act 1961 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Grants to Foundation

Section 20 of the principal Act is hereby amended—

(a)

By repealing subsection (1); and

(b)

By omitting from subsection (3) the expression “(1) or paragraph (a) of subsection (2)”, and substituting the expression “(2)(a)”.

This Act is administered in the Ministry of Education.
