245 Penalties in respect of sections 240, 241, and 242A

Every person who commits an offence against section 240, 241, or 242A is liable on conviction,—

(a)

in the case of an individual, to a fine not exceeding $5,000 and, if the offence is a continuing one, to a further fine not exceeding $1,000 for every day or part of a day during which the offence is continued:

(b)

in the case of a body corporate, to a fine not exceeding $50,000 and, if the offence is a continuing one, to a further fine not exceeding $10,000 for every day or part of a day during which the offence is continued.
