An Act to amend the Electoral Act 1993

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Electoral Amendment Act 1995, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Electoral Act 1993.

2 Members of Parliament

Section 27 of the Electoral Act 1993 is hereby amended by inserting, after the words “provisions of”, the words “the Electoral Act 1956 or”.

This Act is administered in the Ministry of Justice.
