An Act to amend the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Oaths and Declarations Amendment Act 1996, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Declarations made in New Zealand

Section 9(1) of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting the words “Post Office Bank Limited” (as substituted by section 32(1) of the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986), and substituting the words “the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand”.

This Act is administered in the Ministry of Justice.
