Note
This order is administered in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
PURSUANT to section 1(2) of the Chemical Weapons (Prohibition) Act 1996, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
1 Title
This order may be cited as the Chemical Weapons (Prohibition) Act Commencement Order 1997.
2 Commencement of Chemical Weapons (Prohibition) Act 1996
The Chemical Weapons (Prohibition) Act 1996 comes into force on 29 April 1997.
