An Act to amend the Arbitration Act 1996

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:

1 Short Title and commencement

  • (1) This Act may be cited as the Arbitration Amendment Act 1998, and is part of the Arbitration Act 1996 (“the principal Act”).

    (2) This Act is deemed to have come into force on 1 July 1997.

2 Schedule 1 amended

  • This section amended article 7(1) of Schedule 1 of the principal Act.

3 Schedule 4 amended

  • This section amended Schedule 4 of the principal Act.
