32 Ministerial directions

(1)

Subpart 1 of Part 3 of the Crown Entities Act 2004 applies to the giving of Ministerial directions.

(2)

Without limiting subsection (1), the Minister may, under that Act, give a DHB any directions—

(a)

that specify the persons who are eligible to receive services funded under this Act; and

(b)

that the Minister considers necessary or expedient in relation to any matter relating to the DHB; and

(c)

that are consistent with the objectives and functions of the DHB.

(3)

No direction may require the supply to any person of any information relating to an individual that would enable the identification of the individual.

(4)

Section 33, and not this section nor Part 3 of the Crown Entities Act 2004, applies to a direction that would more appropriately be given under section 33.
